When she and her family first drove into historic Southport, North Carolina, she knew instantly they had found something special. The breezy waterfront, moss-draped oaks, and welcoming Southern spirit captured her heart from that very first moment.
In 2023, Elise and her family made the move to North Carolina, embracing the coastal lifestyle and the close-knit community they had fallen in love with. Family has always been at the center of Elise’s life, shaping both her personal values and her professional journey.
Before becoming the owner of Coastal Blue Gift Shoppe, Elise was a teacher — a role she holds close to her heart. Education, encouragement, and investing in others have always been part of who she is. Whether in the classroom or beyond, she has consistently sought ways to serve and uplift her community. Working within her community has never been just a job — it has been a calling.
